I dont think many people really care. We just want to win $ and follow some good cappers. Can we stop talkin about justin covers or any of the guys who flame him. Please delete my post and any other Justin cover topics that have nothing to do with picks. Let's move on.

At some point today, I'd love to see a tally of the service plays on the Sugar Bowl. I have a feeling it's going to be 90 percent Arkansas, 10 percent Ohio St.

Although I don't agree with Fast&Cash about Justine Covers being Asian (who cares?) I do agree that Justine is not educated. He wrote this profanity-laced harangue yesterday using 10 year-old style texting words, pervasive grammatical mistakes. Most of the guys I like such as Marc Lawrence, Howard Eskin, and Al DeMarco are educated, classy guys. Al DeMarco went to college for journalism. I take what they say more seriously then some blow-hard like Justine Covers who rants like a 12 year old girl using texting language. How can you take his picks seriously when he sounds like a dead-ender?

To play Devil's Advocate, some of the "educated" guys are also pretty "educated" in how to market their picks, spin their records and are quite adept in knowing how to say the right thing to get folks to buy their picks.
It is no different in a court of law-the "best" attorney is not always the most honest one but the one who best defends his client and gets a judge and jury to dismiss the case even though he(the attorney) knows his client his guilty.
Re: Handicappers, the best example of a "smart"/educated and successful handicapper(and I use the term loosely-he is really a first class scamdicapper) is Stu Feiner, who over a long period of time has buried his clients and yet knows what to say and how to say it to get future generations of suckers to buy his picks-how do you think he has lasted for over 25 years?
This is not opinion-it is fact-I have folowed this guy for his entire career and have talked to some of his former associates who had some not so kind words to say about him and the manner in which he operates-he is just one example of many of so-called educated folks who aren't very good cappers.

LEAN* Detroit (+12) over L.A. LAKERS
Rotation #513 - 7:35 pm Pacific
The Lakers have lost 4 of their last 6 games and are coming off a 19 point home loss to the Grizzlies. However, don’t necessarily expect the Lakers to bounce-back by beating up a bad team because that has not been their pattern. The Lakers are just 21-54-1 ATS as a home favorite of 11 points or more the last few years, including 3-16 ATS since the start of last season (1-4 ATS this season), and they’re just 4-14-1 ATS in that role after a loss and 2-11-1 ATS against an unrested team (Detroit played last night). Also, big home favorite are actually bad bets after a straight up loss as a big home favorite and the Lakers apply to a 23-65-2 ATS situation that is based on that. The negative here is that Detroit is not a very good team on the second of back-to-back nights (10-19-2 ATS since last season and 2-5-1 ATS this year). That’s not as bad as the Lakers’ team trend and the general situation against the Lakers still applies, so I’ll lean with Detroit at +12 points or more.

Is anyone making money off his picks or followed him the last year.
